- There are no kings to capture, no check, and no checkmate. Instead, you must wipe out all of the opposing team's pieces. Think of it as a chess deathmatch.
- Every chess piece can move as it normally would. In addition, each piece has one special ability that the player can choose to use for his turn, instead of moving a piece in the ordinary fashion. You can see two above as examples (pawns self-destructing to kill themselves and the piece in front, or a rook jumping over one piece and killing the piece behind it while sacrificing itself).
